For us it was difficult to choose, however, we have made a selection of what that Romagna has to offer within an hour's drive from our hotel.

The Riviera of the parks

The region is also known as the Riviera of Parks: there are many and for all tastes! To the South, a 15 min. by car, there is l’Italia in Miniatura, where you can take a tour around our beautiful country in a single day. Incredible, isn't it? If you are traveling with small children, you can bring them to Fiabilandia, 30 min. drive, and give them a day from a fairy tale, between the battles on the ship of Captain Hook and the Labyrinth of Fu-Ming.

To 20 min. drive to the North, there is Mirabilandia, the largest amusement park in Italy with attractions, adrenaline-pumping, to the greatest and most appropriate games for children, live shows and musicals, all in a single theme park.

Santarcangelo di Romagna

Santarcangelo is located on the top of Mount Jupiter, right above the homonymous caves. The historic village is crossed by narrow streets and stairways that climb to the top, dominated by the Rocca Malatestiana (malatesta fortress: that's nice to get lost among flowered balconies, narrow streets and magical sandstone caves!

If you can, do the tour of the underground caves, whose origins are still the subject of mystery and debate: a real adventure for little and big explorers.

Its beautiful fortified village is one of the best preserved medieval in Italy. Perched on a hill in the valley of the malatesta, was the protagonist in the course of the centuries of great historical and cultural.

Among the most famous is undoubtedly the troubled and passionate love story between Paolo and Francesca narrated by Dante Alighieri in the Divine Comedy. A 27-minute drive.


The city is known throughout the world for its mosaics and the historical and artistic beauties declared Patrimony of the Humanity by the Unesco. Seven of the eight monuments, a World Heritage site, guard the incomparable treasure of precious pieces that are able to tell, with their colour scheme and iconography, the artistic splendor of a city that, between the V and the VI century d.C., it was one of the main centers of the known World. Three times capital (of the roman Empire, the kingdom of the Ostrogoths, the Byzantine exarchate), Ravenna behind the apparent sobriety of its buildings, an inordinate wealth of details and stories to listen to. A 25-minute drive away.


A typical example of medieval village , it is considered the balcony of Romagna.

Rich in history and legend, is famous for its wines, culinary traditions, the spa of Fratta and its magnificent monuments.

San Leo

You are a lover of castles and fortresses? Perched on a cliff overlooking the valley, there is one of those places where you want to wear a suit of armor and marching the length and breadth of the entire fortress. And what of the count of Cagliostro, a mysterious alchemist by the occult powers, here held prisoner at the end of the EIGHTEENTH century? San Leo is part of the circuit of the most Beautiful Villages of Italy and Orange Flag of the Italian Touring Club, from here you can appreciate the charming marecchia valley from the top.
